A little clarity on the words used around cartridge systems.

- Cartridge
- The container and heating assembly. A cartridge can be sold empty or filled; the contents are a separate product characteristic.
- Battery
- The power unit. A reusable battery and a replaceable cartridge are separate parts of some devices.
- 510 connection
- A threaded connection used by some systems. The connector name alone does not establish full compatibility.
- Pod
- A removable cartridge format designed for a particular device system. Pods are not universally interchangeable.
- All-in-one
- A single device that combines its reservoir and power source, rather than using a separately sold battery.
